If you and a spouse/partner share a bank account, you can link it to each person's PayForward account. However, you will need to ensure the correct trial deposits are used when verifying the bank account in PayForward.
If the bank account link process was started roughly on the same time and same day, check which PayForward account had the first link attempt. Then go to the bank statement and use the 1st and 3rd trial deposits for the first account linked, and then the 2nd and 4th for the second account linked.
There are only 3 attempts to link the account before being prevented from any further attempts. When that happens, you will need to remove (unlink) the bank account and start the linking process again.
